Trademark & Intellectual Property Policy
Effective Date: 21 December 2025
This Trademark & Intellectual Property Policy (“Policy”) governs the ownership, use, and protection of all intellectual property associated with HostX. By accessing or using any HostX website, platform, service, or materials, you agree to comply with this Policy in full.
1. Ownership of Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to HostX, including but not limited to:
• The name HostX™
• Logos, symbols, icons, designs, color schemes
• Website content, layout, user interface, and graphics
• Software, code, scripts, and system architecture
• Marketing materials, documentation, and written content
• Trademarks, service marks, trade names, and branding elements
are the exclusive property of HostX or its licensors and are protected under international trademark laws, copyright laws, and intellectual property treaties, whether registered or unregistered.
Nothing in this Policy or on the HostX website shall be interpreted as granting any ownership rights to users or third parties.
2. Trademark Protection & Rights
HostX™ is a protected trademark. HostX reserves all rights to its trademarks and branding worldwide, regardless of whether such marks are registered in a particular jurisdiction.
Trademark protection applies internationally under:
• Common law trademark rights
• International intellectual property conventions
• Applicable national and regional trademark laws
3. Prohibited Use of HostX Trademarks
You may NOT, without prior written authorization from HostX:
• Use the HostX name, logo, or branding in any commercial activity
• Copy, imitate, modify, or create confusingly similar trademarks
• Register domain names, company names, social media handles, or applications incorporating “HostX” or similar variations
• Use HostX branding in advertising, promotions, or sponsorships
• Suggest endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with HostX where none exists
Any unauthorized use constitutes trademark infringement and unfair competition.
4. Limited Permission & Fair Use
Limited, non-commercial references to HostX may be permitted solely for factual or informational purposes, provided such use:
• Does not mislead or confuse users
• Does not damage HostX’s reputation
• Does not imply endorsement or ownership
HostX reserves the sole discretion to determine what constitutes acceptable use.
5. Enforcement & Legal Action
HostX actively monitors and enforces its intellectual property rights worldwide. In the event of infringement, HostX reserves the right to:
• Issue cease-and-desist notices
• Suspend or terminate services associated with infringing activity
• Initiate legal proceedings in any applicable jurisdiction
• Seek injunctive relief, damages, legal costs, and other remedies
Failure to enforce rights in one instance does not constitute a waiver of rights.
6. User Content & Intellectual Property
Users retain ownership of their own content hosted on HostX. However, by using HostX services, users grant HostX a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and process such content solely for the purpose of providing services.
Users represent and warrant that they own or have lawful rights to all content they upload and that such content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
7. Reporting Infringement
If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been infringed in connection with HostX services, please submit a written notice including:
• Proof of ownership
• Description of the alleged infringement
• Contact information
HostX will review all valid claims and take appropriate action where required.
8. No License Granted
Except as expressly stated, no license, permission, or right is granted to use any HostX intellectual property. All rights are expressly reserved.
9. Policy Updates
HostX reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Updates become effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of HostX services constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
10. Governing Principles
This Policy shall be governed by international intellectual property principles, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
